Biography
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of NJ with a master’s degree and 14 years of experience working closely with individuals, groups, and families. I have worked with adults across the lifespan and specialize with the older adult population, caregivers, and parents. I treat acute and chronic conditions such as anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and psychotic disorders. I also help individuals work through life’s challenges and transitions, such as aging, caregiving, and parenting.
Using a combination of CBT, insight oriented, solution focused, and narrative therapy, I help individuals improve their lives. I work with clients to assess their needs, concerns, and challenges, and through active listening and reflection I assist them in discovering their social and emotional strengths. Providing compassionate empathetic intervention and guidance, I assist clients to utilize their strengths to overcome adversity and to develop effective, life affirming coping strategies. Thus, clients create a healthy and satisfying life of which they will feel proud.
