The purpose of the Health Care Provider Model is to increase employees’ overall mental wellness and enhance communication and empathy for their coworkers. This creates a more productive and cohesive team. Individuals will have the opportunity to gain insight and set goals for themselves and share the goals they have developed with their group to improve their functioning as a team member.
In addition, information will be provided about the impact health care work has on an individual as it relates to the workshop presented. Health care workers will also gain insight into how their own mental wellness impacts their role as they establish goals to take corrective measures if needed.
The Thriving Model Workshop is offered only in an educational format for Health Care Workers to ensure appropriate work boundaries are maintained. Health Care Workers have the option of adding on individual sessions with one of the therapists facilitating the model.
