Kelsey Bisson, LCSW Psychotherapist
Director of Therapeutic Workshops & Presentations
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of NJ with a master’s degree and more than 15 years of experience working closely with individuals, groups, families and healthcare providers. I have worked with adults across the lifespan, specializing in working with young adults through older adults. I treat acute and chronic conditions such as anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and psychotic disorders. I also help individuals work through life’s challenges and transitions. I am highly skilled in presenting and facilitating groups and workshops. I am experienced providing care for other clinicians and healthcare providers and always welcome the opportunity.
Using a combination of CBT, insight-oriented, solution-focused, and narrative therapy, I help individuals improve their lives. I work with clients to assess their needs, concerns, and challenges. Along with active listening and reflection, I incorporate therapeutic skills, to help them discover their social and emotional strengths. Providing compassionate, empathetic intervention and guidance, I assist clients in utilizing their strengths to overcome adversity and to develop effective, life-affirming coping strategies. Thus, clients create a healthy and satisfying life in which they will feel proud.
